This is a famous quote by Dr Seuss. And we TOTALLY agree with it.
Children with poor reading comprehension struggle in school as reading is the foundation of all of the academic subjects like History, Language, Science, and Math. Strong reading comprehension skill is linked to academic progress as subjects taken in school rely on understanding, as well as analysis and application of information gathered through reading.
Comprehension goes beyond reading the text
Reading Comprehension is the ability to process and understand a text. This involves finding or extracting meaning and being able to make sense, summarize, retell, reiterate, and apply what has been read.
Our Program
SRA Reading Laboratory is a personalized reading practice program that was designed in Florida by Dr. Don H. Parker in 1950. It is also one of the most trusted names in reading. It’s been an effective tool used in developing comprehension, vocabulary, fluency, word analysis, and study skills.
